East End Dubs is a name that is synonymous with contemporary house music. It’s a name that excites the hedonist, party-going, regular ravers amongst us and one that has inspired a generation of young producers to create a brand of music built solely for the dancefloor.
The London-based, Turkish-born, somewhat media shy DJ, only otherwise known as ‘Chase’, began pursuing a career in music after boldly deciding to leave university to follow his dream of becoming a successful artist. A gamble no doubt, but one that absolutely paid off.
He’s since become one of the world’s most prolific and productive house DJ’s, regularly performing his unique style of dub-inspired deep house, packed full of heavy basslines and infectious groove, at some of the most popular clubbing destinations across the globe – from Sankey’s in Ibiza to Berlin’s fabled and now perished Katerholzig.
On top of a busy touring schedule, Chase continues to find the time to bring value to his beloved music industry. He’s launched a number of his own highly regarded imprints, including the self-titled East End Dub Recordings and spin off label Eastenderz, collectively selling over 40,000 units of limited edition vinyl each year, and frequently produces remixes for a plethora of established artists whilst continuing to produce and release his own accomplished material.
The distinguished mixmaster and self-proclaimed crate digger has released several short EP’s throughout the year so far, including ‘WHAT’S GOIN ON’ and ‘A Bit Dandy’. His latest offering is a reworking of rising Liverpudlian DJ, Lauren Lo Sung’s ‘Momentum’.
If your partial to non-stop bangers and enjoy going mad for it on the dancefloor, we urgently advise that you don’t miss out on your chance to witness a legend at work.
