London’s premier drum n bass quartet are back, after almost half a year of radio silence, with their brand-new UK garage inspired track – ‘Come Over’.
The single, featuring vocals from singer-songwriter and regular collaborator Anne-Marie, alongside notable London grime MC Tion Wayne, is only the groups third of the year. A stark contrast to 2019, largely due to the effects of COVID-19, which saw the prolific act release numerous singles, remixes and an album chart breaking LP – ‘A Toast to Our Differences’.
Following on from back-to-back singles ‘Krazy’, a collaborative effort with DJ production duo The Martinez Brothers, and ‘Easy on Me’, featuring the bands live vocalist Afronaut Zu, released in March, ‘Come Over’ sees the collective taking it back to the early nineties with a resurging garage sound. Expressive radio friendly vocals blend effortlessly with soulful horn sections, genre defining percussive beats and warm bass tones on this laid back, late summer offering. We can see this one going down well next year!
