London based producer/DJ Robert Etheridge has become an increasingly influential figure within dance music. Originally starting a record label called Regal Records in 2010 he released tracks by Ben Kama, Ad Gannon and more.
Etheridge took up the Dimension moniker in 2012 and quickly impressed with a combination of slick production skills and phenomenal musicality. He released a debut single called ‘Digital World’ which was released via Cyantific Records.
He soon caught the attention of legendary duo Chase and Status and as a result, they signed him up to their MTA label. More of his tracks started to pick up traction and he also began working on remixes outside of the Drum and Bass sphere including remixing Duke Dumont.
His first big mainstream break came through a collaboration with Sub Focus on ‘Desire’ which has a long list of achievements attached to it. It spent 9 weeks on Radio 1’s A list, has over 50 million streams and is certified silver in the UK.
It was his fifth Hottest Record with Annie Mac who has always been a keen supporter of Dimension. He also had a debut Essential Mix for the radio station which was met with critical acclaim. His glowing career has seen him in demand as a touring performer, playing at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Tomorrowland.
He has also maintained a popular residence at Amnesia in Ibiza. He is known for the bold aesthetic that he has created which you can see in his special Dimension Live shows. They have received acclaim for the huge LED light shows, pyrotechnics and “scentology”.
Dimension is certainly a unique performer looking to push boundaries. You can catch him on Saturday 4th September at Highest Point and be prepared for a spectacular set.
