From habitual raver to dance floor commander – Seb Zito has climbed up through the ranks of the underground, establishing himself as one of the most significant players within the UK’s house and techno scene.
Born and raised in London, the now renowned party starter was first introduced to music at the tender age of just 11 years old. Engrossed by the diverse sounds of the city, the youngster discovered a particular penchant for a select range of musical styles and genres, stemming mainly from black music culture – such as jungle, garage and grime, eventually leading onto house and techno.
Realising his calling early on, young Zito sought to forge a career as a DJ, later pursuing production as a side hustle. He dedicated his time and energy to developing the skills of his trade, creating the raw, authentic and unrelenting sound he’s become so widely known for, whilst also perfecting his live sets.
Fast forward a few years and it’s fair to say Zito’s career has really taken off. He’s performed and gained residencies at some of the biggest clubs and venues across the world – from illustrious London night club Fuse to mega club Amnesia on the white isles of Ibiza. He’s created a number of his own successful, highly regarded imprints, including Seven Dials and F&Z, and continues to release his own material through a variety of respected labels, such as Infuse, Play It Say It, Edible, and Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two.
His latest single release ‘All for You’, featuring the sultry vocals of talented, upcoming singer Sophie Marie, showcases the producers eclectic taste and skilful composition. A four-to-the-floor, garage club banger which when dropped will no doubt have us all moving at next year’s Highest Point!
Catch Seb Zito performing his many hits live on Friday 14th May at Highest Point 2021.
