Emerald Rose Lewis was surrounded by music from a young age. Her house alive with reggae, dub and hip-hop records from her dad’s collection, with him being a DJ. It’s no real surprise that Emerald has followed in his footsteps.
From 2015 she went from hosting amateur radio shows to becoming a key voice within independent radio. She hosts shows on Rinse FM, playing UK funk, bass, garage and house. Within her rise, she even got to work with MIA on curating the 2017 edition of Meltdown Festival.
A multi-hyphenate, with multiple projects going on at the same time you can always find Emerald hard at work DJing, presenting or modelling. Within her career as a DJ she has played to crowds at Glastonbury, Lovebox and Secret Garden Party. Whilst also rising to a station favourite at Rinse FM, hosting the breakfast show and her own specialist shows.
