Eclectic genre jugglers Culture Shock are heading to Lancaster’s Highest Point 2024. Through their effortless fusion of punk, ska and reggae, the four-piece outfit are cult favourites and draw crowds with their unique style and politically charged lyrics.
Formed in the late 80s by former Subhuman member Dick Lucas in Warminster, Wiltshire, the group played hundreds of gigs and dropped three albums from 1986-1989, but had to disband due to family commitments. Since reforming in 2012, Culture Shock has become a mainstay on the gig circuit, and are praised for their music’s positive and empowering perspective despite its often socio-political subject matter.
We’re excited to bring their genre-bending and thought-provoking music to this year’s Highest Point Festival.
